The article focuses on the legal challenges regarding NFTs, such as intellectual property rights (copyright, etc.) and consumer protection, and on the best ways to settle disputes regarding NFTs and other Blockchain related technologies (online arbitration – OArb – rather than courts). The most important NFT platforms seem to provide in their ‘Terms & Conditions’ for binding arbitration by US based ADR service providers such as JAMS (OpenSea), NAM (Nifty Gateway), and the American Arbitration Association (Rarible, SuperRare, Christie’s, Sotheby’s Metaverse, etc.).
